About the Role
Roto-Rooter is seeking a Licensed Plumber to provide a wide range of plumbing services, including faucet repairs, water heater installations, and plumbing system replacements. Responsibilities
- Inspect problem areas and accurately diagnose problems to provide solutions and estimates.
- Close sales for services and products.
- Install and repair plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, bathtubs, water heaters, hot water tanks, garbage disposal units, dishwashers, and water softeners.
- Perform sewer and drain cleaning services in various environments.
- Clean and restore job sites to a minimum pre-job condition.
- Prepare invoices, collect payment, and explain the Roto-Rooter guarantee.
- Manage service calls efficiently to move to the next appointment.
Requirements
- Possess a valid driver's license.
- Hold an appropriate state-specific plumbing license.
- Have three or more years of repair and service plumbing experience.
- Demonstrate a proven track record in selling plumbing products and services.
- Possess full knowledge of plumbing systems.
- Obtain Excavation Certification through Competent Person Training (OSHA requirement) within the first year of employment.
- Hold a Journeyman license or equivalent certification as specified by the state.
- Obtain necessary certifications as soon as eligible, if required by state law.
- Exhibit good written and oral communication skills for effective customer service.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and co-worker relations.
