About the Role
Metro Psychotherapy & Counseling is a group private practice providing psychotherapy to various age groups and populations. Responsibilities
- Provide intake assessments and administer psychotherapy to individuals and couples.
- Maintain detailed clinical documentation in accordance with insurance and practice expectations.
- Schedule appointments with patients.
- Participate in weekly team meetings.
- Perform a variety of other job-related responsibilities as requested.
Requirements
- Active NYS LCSW/LMSW/LMHC/MHC-LP license.
- Proven success utilizing intervention, not limited to DBT, ACT and/or CBT.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Experience in psychiatric assessment and diagnosis.
- Ability to maintain clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans.
- Experience working with electronic medical records.
- Reliable computer and internet service and appropriate remote work environment to ensure privacy and confidentiality.

Experience Level
- Proven track record of working with patients struggling with PTSD and PTSD-related issues or Obessive Compulsion Related Disorders.
- Candidates with formal training in Trauma or OCD are preferred.
