The Instrument Assembler is certified in instrument handling, including but not limited to the disassembly, cleaning, disinfection, decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instrumentation and other equipment.

Requirements
- HS Diploma/GED
- Completion of Central Processing Technology course required
- Effective written and verbal communication skills required
