About the Role
Join the Grand Opening of Motek 57th St. and be part of a unique hospitality opportunity from day one. As a barback, you will assist the bar team in ensuring guests have an amazing dining experience by running food and drinks, stocking the bar, and contributing to overall efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Become knowledgeable about dishes/cocktails to engage in proper table talk when dropping off items.
- Restock ice, beverages, wines, and glasses to ensure bar efficiency.
- Assist with stocking the bar, ensuring freshness of batches and slicing garnishes.
- Follow food safety and hygiene protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Contribute to a positive and cooperative work environment through effective communication and team support.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of previous experience in a barback role within a fast-paced restaurant.
- Basic understanding of food handling and safety practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
