About the Role
The licensed Registered Nurse (RN) plans and provides professional nursing services and standards of practice in accordance with experience, education, state board of nursing, and established policies and procedures. The RN integrates nursing practice through compassionate, ethical, and respectful healthcare services.
Responsibilities
- Addresses the medical and psychiatric needs of patients experiencing mental health and substance abuse problems.
- Provides a professional, caring, and safe environment for patients and their families.
- Ensures the highest quality of patient care by providing clinical and safety standards.
- Assesses the needs of each assigned patient.
- Plans and evaluates nursing care, including spiritual, emotional, and physiological needs.
- Ensures the plan of care is carried out through performance and/or leadership of supervised personnel.
- Is directly accountable to the Nurse Manager for the quality of patient care delivered.
- Modifies and delivers care specific to the age, growth, and development of patients.
- Performs clinical and leadership functions when serving in the charge role, assessing patient needs and planning care.
Requirements
- A NYS License
- BLS Required
- Ability to assess, plan, direct, intervene, and evaluate patient care.
- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and written.
- 1 year of RN experience preferred.

Salary/Compensations
- $40.00-$53.10 per hour
