About the Role
A Senior Account Manager for Corporate Events at Salt is a client leader, strategic integrator, and trusted steward of both relationships and results. This role involves leading high-visibility, multidimensional programs with confidence and care, ensuring every touchpoint reflects Salt’s standard of excellence and every engagement aligns with the client’s goals. You will operate with a shared leadership mindset, bringing Creative, Strategy, Operations, and Production into tight alignment while navigating the unique demands of corporate events. As the connective tissue between client vision and agency execution, you will translate strategy into action, spark cross-functional collaboration, and ensure momentum through every phase of the work.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic client partner, building deep, trusted relationships with corporate marketing, events, communications, and executive stakeholders that foster long-term growth and alignment.
- Co-lead complex corporate event programs in partnership with Production, owning the client relationship while ensuring delivery of innovative, intentional, and on-brief work across keynotes, general sessions, SKOs, and conferences.
- Drive strategic clarity by aligning internal teams to client priorities and connecting the dots across content, creative, technical production, executive stakeholders, deliverables, and decisions.
- Lead key communications touchpoints, from stakeholder meetings and content reviews to executive presentations, recaps, and approvals, ensuring all documentation reflects professionalism, accuracy, and purpose.
- Manage project complexity with ease, tracking deliverables, content milestones, rehearsals, executive approvals, and timelines while flagging risks early and solving for them proactively.
- Ensure creative, content, and live event execution ladder up to the brief, reflect client goals, and meet Salt’s quality standards.
- Serve as a key client-facing partner onsite, managing stakeholder expectations, navigating real-time feedback, and collaborating with Production to support successful rehearsals and live show delivery.
- Contribute to new business and organic growth, helping shape responses, proposals, and pitch narratives with strategic insight and polish.
- Coach and support more junior team members, helping build confidence, capability, and clarity within the broader account team.
- Model shared leadership and collaboration by showing up as a unifier across disciplines—openly sharing information, feedback, and context.
- Maintain a presence of calm, clarity, and preparation, even when navigating ambiguity, shifting priorities, or high-stakes delivery.
- Help guide program strategy and ensure workstreams remain aligned to both the brief and the broader partnership goals.
- Engage in special projects and additional tasks as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant account management experience, preferably within an experiential or event production agency.
- Demonstrated experience supporting large-scale corporate events, executive keynotes, sales kickoffs (SKOs), general sessions, or conferences.
- Proven success managing corporate event client accounts, navigating multiple stakeholders, complex approval processes, content development, and interconnected creative and production workstreams with strategic fluency and operational rigor.
- Exceptional communicator with the ability to translate strategy, distill complexity, and confidently engage corporate stakeholders, executive teams, and internal production and creative partners.
- Highly organized and solutions-oriented, able to anticipate needs, manage ambiguity, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
- Experienced in cross-functional collaboration, with a strong understanding of corporate event development, including keynote content, show flow, creative development, technical production workflows, rehearsals, and live event delivery.
- Confident presenting and facilitating at all levels—client, internal, and cross-functional—always adding value and moving the conversation forward.
- Comfortable with fast-paced environments and a shared leadership culture where partnership, ownership, and flexibility are key.

About the Company
- Redefine the Rules: Creative and production fighting like cats and dogs? Not here. We bring creative and production together from the start because a great idea is only as good as how it’s brought to life. For us, logistics and aesthetics go hand in hand. We’re all about delivering experiences that go beyond the ask.
- In Search Of: Tackling challenges is our favorite pastime. Obstacles? We call them plot twists. We are creative thinkers and problem-solvers who always find a way forward with curiosity and determination. Our focus is exceeding expectations, turning client asks into an opportunity to deliver something unexpectedly brilliant.
- Expect More, Get More: We hold ourselves to higher standards than anyone else, always looking for ways to elevate each project. We don’t stop at simply checking all the boxes; we push until time runs out. That extra 10% is where we surpass the competition, delivering results beyond what our clients could imagine—or even think to ask for.
- Compassion is Culture: We are powered by extraordinary humans, and we’re dedicated to cultivating an environment where company success is tied to team success. We combat burnout with inspiration, motivation, and genuine support. Without fun, work sucks.
