About the Role
Rochester Regional Health is seeking a Hematopathologist at Rochester General Hospital. This position offers laboratory directorship opportunities within a multispecialty group committed to diagnostic excellence and collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Provide hematopathology consultation to surgical pathology colleagues.
- Sign out a wide variety of diagnostic material across numerous surgical subspecialties.
- Collaborate with Lipson Cancer Institute Hematology-Oncology colleagues.
- Support a regional Academic Comprehensive Cancer Program.
- Serve as an Instructor for fellows, residents, medical students, and clinical laboratory technology students.
- Participate in global clinical trials opportunities.
Requirements
- Board certified in Clinical Pathology or Anatomic & Clinical Pathology (preferred).
- Fellowship trained in Hematopathology.
- Board certified or board eligible for subspecialty certification in Hematopathology.
- DO or MD degree.
- NYS Physician license.
