About the Role
Uniqlo Cafe is seeking a driven individual eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso beverages.
- Deliver excellent customer service by engaging with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance at all times.
- Ensure composure and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
- Uphold company standards for beverage and food preparation.
- Perform daily equipment checks and report maintenance needs.
- Regularly clean, restock, and organize the café space.
- Complete opening, closing, and side-work duties.
- Handle cash transactions accurately.
- Communicate promptly with management regarding operational needs or issues.
- Collaborate with team members to foster a positive and supportive work environment.
- Guide and train new hires to maintain service and quality standards.
- Comply with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Barista (minimum 1 year).
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation and sanitation regulations.
- Ability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Strong ability to assess and meet customer preferences.
- A passion for hospitality and creating a positive customer experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
