About the Role
Soccer Shots is seeking a dependable part-time morning youth soccer coach to lead engaging 30-45 minute sessions for children aged 18 months to 8 years old. The role focuses on skill development, character building, and fun, aiming to leave a lasting positive impact on every child and family served.
Responsibilities
- Lead 30-45 minute soccer sessions at local preschools, elementary schools, parks, and community centers.
- Teach young children the sport of soccer through an age-appropriate curriculum.
- Focus on skill development, character building, and fun themes.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Valid driver's license and access to a personal, insured vehicle OR reliable transportation.
- Availability for weekday mornings (8:30 AM – 12:00 PM) and weekend mornings (8:30 AM – 12:00 PM).
- Reliable and consistent coach who enjoys teaching fun, themed soccer sessions.
- Must be punctual and consistent.
- Must be responsible and organized.
- Must take initiative.
- Must have high standards.
- Must have patience and kindness.
- Must be flexible/adaptable.
- Must be goal-oriented.
Skills
- Passion for positively impacting children's lives through sports and fitness.
- Experience working with children ages 18 months to 8 years old is preferred.
- Ability to be a "kid" with a silly, goofy, and high-energy personality.
- Passion for working with children.
