About the Role
As a Supply Chain Associate Consultant at Lidl, you’ll be responsible for the execution of all our in-store promotional activity. This includes managing stock flow for the promotional range, analyzing data, and ensuring promotional lines meet advertised on-sale dates. This role is ideal for someone who likes to play a crucial part in the retail and commercial operations.
Responsibilities
- Successfully manage stakeholder relationships within Head Office and our 14 Regional Distribution Centres (RDCs)
- Review existing processes to identify optimisation opportunities
- Present analysis, project proposals and outcomes to Senior Management
- Manage regional promotional activity and communication
- Create demand forecasts for promotional lines and seasonal campaigns
- Effectively maximise operational opportunities through data analysis
- Identify and recognise turnover and cost saving opportunities
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience within a promotional Supply Chain environment
- An analytical mind and a methodical approach with strong PC skills
- Advanced knowledge of Google Sheets and Slides
- The ability to identify trends and adjust strategies accordingly
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- The ability to multi-task and handle conflicting deadlines
