About the Role

This role involves managing vendors, quality, and costs to ensure stable operations and drive continuous improvement. You will facilitate communication with outsourcing partners to execute improvement activities and projects.

Responsibilities

Track KPIs for warehouse and delivery operations, identify issues, and work towards solutions with outsourcing partners.
Improve productivity and reduce costs in warehouse and delivery processes using methodologies like Lean.
Implement preventive and corrective actions to meet damage and error rate targets, collaborating with outsourcing partner managers on initiatives like Good Saves and 5S.
Respond flexibly and positively to irregular requests based on business needs.
Acquire necessary knowledge of EHS, SOx, and relevant regulations, understand their operational impact, and promote understanding among outsourcing partner leaders and teams.
Support the development of procedures for outsourcing partners and act as an educational contact point, ensuring compliance with internal regulations and procedures.
Manage the impact of changes from overseas, manufacturers, or domestic sources, and update related procedures and manuals.
Coordinate and negotiate with various departments to facilitate business improvement projects, including cost reduction, with outsourcing partners.
Participate in supplier selection, contracting, and management, collaborating with procurement to execute contract renewals and amendments.
Monitor outstanding purchase orders to ensure compliance with established standards.
Identify priority issues in warehouse and delivery operations and determine appropriate corrective actions.
Participate in internal change management processes involving operational changes, leading collaboration and information sharing within the team and with other DC members.

Requirements

Understanding of warehouse and delivery operations for medical devices.
Familiarity with Lean methodologies for productivity improvement and cost reduction.
Knowledge of EHS, SOx, and relevant regulations.
Understanding of quality management processes based on internal regulations and procedures.
Experience in managing changes and updating procedures and manuals.
Experience in coordinating and negotiating with various departments.
Experience in supplier selection, contracting, and management.
Ability to monitor purchase orders and ensure compliance.
Experience in identifying operational issues and implementing corrective actions.
Experience in internal change management processes.
