About the Role
Bruegger's Bagels is seeking a Baker to join their team. This role is crucial for ensuring the quality and availability of products by stocking the bagel wall and pastry case. Bakers also contribute to excellent guest service by assisting with order taking and sandwich making, while maintaining a safe and clean store environment. The company emphasizes a commitment to work-life balance, with stores closing by 3 PM, ensuring no evening or night shifts.
Responsibilities
- Stock the bagel wall and pastry case to ensure quality product availability each shift.
- Provide excellent guest service by assisting with order taking and sandwich making.
- Maintain a safe and clean store environment.
- Prepare bagels and other baked goods.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years or older.
- Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work varied hours/days as business dictates, including early hours (as early as 3 AM) and weekends.
- Must be able to pass background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law.
- Possession of a current, valid, state-issued driver's license is preferred but only required at specific locations.
- Must meet the driving qualifications as required by Company policy.
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, lift, and move intermittently during working hours.
