Lead a high-performing kitchen operation, make a real commercial impact, and deliver fantastic food experiences in a buzzing London riverside pub. Take ownership of the kitchen, setting the standard for food quality, consistency, and pace while creating a positive, high-energy environment where your team can thrive.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the kitchen runs smoothly during busy service.
- Get the best out of your team by encouraging and supporting them to work well together.
- Ensure every dish served is of the highest standards.
- Manage costs and drive sales.
- Develop your people.
Requirements
- A proven leader who knows how to motivate, develop, and inspire a kitchen team.
- A high-volume operator who stays calm under pressure and leads from the front when service gets busy.
- Commercially switched on, with a strong understanding of GP, labour, stock control, waste, and kitchen profitability.
- Passionate about great food, delivering quality and consistency with every plate.
- Serious about standards, with food safety, hygiene, and compliance always front of mind.
- A team player who works closely with the General Manager to drive the overall success of the pub.
