About the Role
Support the successful delivery of utility-scale renewable energy projects from development through construction and into operational handover. Gain broad exposure to the entire project lifecycle, supporting the planning, coordination, execution, and commercial management of complex renewable energy infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of EPC construction projects.
- Develop and implement project execution plans, schedules, budgets, quality plans, reporting structures, and risk management plans.
- Track project progress against key milestones and KPIs, identifying risks, issues, delays, and cost impacts, and helping implement mitigation measures.
- Monitor project costs, forecasts, cash flow, invoice verification, and budget performance.
- Manage the invoice payment process and internal approvals.
- Administer the main EPC contract with clients and monitor compliance with contractual obligations, rights, and responsibilities.
- Ensure contractual requirements are reflected in procurement activities, subcontract agreements, project strategies, and execution plans.
- Manage contractual claims, variation orders, and commercial negotiations with clients and subcontractors.
- Conduct technical evaluations and the selection of EPC subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and specialized service providers.
- Coordinate engineering, procurement, quality assurance, permitting, construction, commissioning, and handover activities.
- Ensure permitting requirements, grid connection requirements, environmental obligations, and technical specifications are incorporated into project planning and execution.
- Manage technical interfaces between contractors, suppliers, utilities, clients, and other project stakeholders.
- Coordinate project activities to ensure timely delivery and a smooth transition into Operations & Maintenance (O&M).
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Energy Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Advanced German (at least B2) and good command of English.
- Genuine interest in renewable energy and project management.
- Structured, detail-oriented, and proactive way of working.
