About the Role
Seeking a full-time, live-in ROTA nanny for a West Village family with one toddler starting ASAP. Responsibilities include providing nurturing care and engaging with the child in a stimulating, age-appropriate manner. The ideal candidate is active, enjoys travel, and possesses a positive, engaging attitude.
Responsibilities
- Providing nurturing care for the child
- Interacting with the child in a fun, stimulating, and age-appropriate way
- Meal preparation
- Cleaning up and tidying bedroom and play areas
- Child's laundry
- Researching and planning playdates and activities
- Handling children for periods alone when needed
- Domestic and International travel with the family
Requirements
- Valid work authorization with valid passport
- A minimum of 4 years experience as a nanny, 5-10 years preferred
- A well-suited demeanor for working with infants and toddlers
- Exceptional childcare references that attest to strong communication skills, reliability, punctuality, maturity and high emotional intelligence
- Education or equivalent knowledge of ages and stages of child growth and development
- Ability to complete all child related duties
- An open and flexible schedule and ability to travel
- Comfortable working in a partnership/alongside with other caregivers and Mother in the home
- Demonstrates professionalism and discretion at all times
