About the Role
As a NAPA Automotive Parts Specialist, you are the "face of the retail store" and the go-to person for customers' automotive needs. This role is a great opportunity for those looking for a career, full/part-time work, or an entry point into exploring other career paths within NAPA.
Responsibilities
- Provide auto parts answers and solutions for retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone.
- Utilize parts knowledge to assist NAPA team members with customer inquiries.
- Deliver outstanding customer care and positive interactions.
- Welcome retail customers and engage to provide a positive consumer experience.
- Operate technology, including computers, cash registers, telephones, and catalog systems.
- Perform basic store housekeeping and organization support.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or a willingness to learn all things auto parts.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced retail environments.
- Great listening skills and empathy for customers.
