Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and standards, ensuring food safety.
- Oversee production of assigned dishes and maintain station cleanliness and supplies.
- Maintain high-quality standards for all dishes, considering presentation and taste.
- Communicate effectively with team members and provide support to colleagues.
- Collaborate with the head chef to develop new recipes and provide suggestions.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization, ensuring equipment is in good working order.
- Work flexible shifts, including early, middle, and late shifts, between 04:00 and 22:00.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Commis Chef or similar role.
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Works according to the BaxterStorey core values.
