About the Role
5 STAR Event Services is seeking Event Staff/Security Guards to ensure the safety and comfort of clients, guests, and employees at upcoming events like the Trail of Lights @ Zilker Park. Get paid to work awesome events!
Responsibilities
- Enforce and uphold the integrity of public and private areas of the venue.
- Monitor entry and exit points to specific areas of the venue.
- Perform routine search procedures including bag searches and screening of guests and their credentials prior to entry.
- Greet and direct guests to seating areas and various services.
- Maintain open and smooth access routes for patrons and vehicles.
- Receive and act on patron complaints according to policies.
- Enforce all policies and procedures throughout the facility.
- Report any suspicious behaviors or activity.
- Aide in the direction of orderly evacuation during emergencies.
- Provide security escorts per event requirements.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Reliable forms of communication and transportation.
- Texas Non-Commissioned Guard Card (Level II Training & Exam provided for free).
- Must apply, pass exam, submit to fingerprinting, and criminal background check.
- Full physical and mental dexterity.
- Ability to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, hear, see and speak English clearly.
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods (shift duration).
- Ability to lift 25lbs.
- Flexible availability is required.
