About the Role
Soccer Shots Long Island West builds schedules around your availability and aims to place you at convenient locations. We offer paid training and opportunities for advancement, with a focus on making a positive impact on children's lives.
Responsibilities
- Lead fun, high-energy soccer sessions for children ages 2–8
- Conduct 30–50 minute classes at various locations including preschools, daycares, parks, community centers, elementary schools, and indoor facilities
- Create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
- Teach soccer fundamentals and character-building lessons using Soccer Shots' curriculum
- Arrive 15 minutes early to set up and prepare for each session
- Communicate professionally with families, teachers, and site staff
- Follow attendance, safety, and program protocols
- Bring enthusiasm, creativity, and positive energy to every class
Requirements
- No coaching experience required
- Soccer playing experience at any level is a plus
- Ability to coach both indoors and outdoors
- Comfortable being active and managing the energy of young children
- Available to coach anywhere from 5–25 sessions per week, depending on your schedule
