About the Role
Skilled Wound Care is hiring physicians of all specialties in Rhinebeck, NY to work as wound care physicians and lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. This role offers a fresh start for physicians seeking a no-call, Monday-Friday career with hands-on procedures and no earning cap, or a part-time role alongside current work.
Responsibilities
- Surgical and sharp debridement and other bedside procedures
- Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds
- Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols
- Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and the post-acute setting, where you follow patients through healing
Requirements
- Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution
- Medical License: Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one)
- DEA License: Or eligibility to obtain one
- Completed residency and board certification/eligibility are not required.
- No previous wound care or procedural experience is required; comprehensive wound care training is provided.
- Pre-employment confidential DiSC testing and appropriate relevant skills testing will be performed prior to hiring.

- $250,000 – $500,000 per year for Full-time
- No earning cap as an independent contractor
- Top performers earn $500,000+ through performance bonuses
