Skilled Wound Care is hiring Internal Medicine Physicians in Manhattan, NY, to work as wound care physicians and lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. Responsibilities
- Use the latest advancements in wound healing to change lives in communities across Manhattan, NY
- Perform surgical and sharp debridement and other bedside procedures
- Evaluate and treat chronic, non-healing, and complex wounds
- Manage the underlying conditions that affect wound healing
- Utilize advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols
- Engage in collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and the post-acute setting, following patients through healing
Requirements
- Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution. Must be board-eligible.
- Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one)
- DEA License (or eligibility to obtain one)
- No previous wound care or procedural experience is required; comprehensive wound care training is provided
- Must pass pre-employment confidential DiSC testing and relevant skills testing
