About the Role

Our Ultrasound Technologists play a critical role in delivering accurate diagnoses and compassionate care that drives better outcomes. Join the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine Sonography team and play an essential role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging for obstetric and gynecologic patients.
Responsibilities
- Perform all aspects of ultrasound image acquisition, processing, submission for interpretation, and archiving.
- Ensure a safe, supportive, and compassionate experience for every patient.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Graduate of a one year approved ultrasound program
- American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (Sonography) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) certification in appropriate clinical specialty
- Completion of at least two years of college coursework
- Minimum of one year of diagnostic ultrasound experience
- Previous experience working as an Ultrasound Technologist within an acute care or hospital environment
- Experience in OB/GYN imaging
- Proficiency with GE ultrasound equipment
- All roles require on-site presence.
- Employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
- NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.
