About the Role
Buckley Cable Construction is hiring Coax Splicers. No experience is required as we provide comprehensive training. This role involves building and upgrading cable television and broadband systems by working on aerial coax networks from bucket trucks and utility poles. It is not electrical work. We offer paid training and a take-home bucket truck after completion.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of a crew upgrading aerial cable systems.
- Learn to install, maintain, and splice hardline coaxial cable.
- Work from bucket trucks and utility poles.
- Complete onboarding paperwork.
- Obtain a DOT Medical Card.
- Communicate any issues or delays promptly.
Requirements
- Enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Comfortable working at heights up to 40 feet.
- Able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
- Experience using hand tools.
- Valid driver's license.
- Willing to obtain a DOT Medical Card (company paid).
- Willing to learn a skilled trade.
- Follow through on commitments.
- Maintain communication regarding any issues.
