About the Role

The Commercial Real Estate team is seeking a Vice President in the London office. The successful candidate will be part of a growing strategy and play a meaningful role in the team’s success. Lean teams provide significant exposure to senior members of the business and the opportunity for direct involvement in all aspects of the investment process including analysis/underwriting, IC process, execution and post-closing portfolio management.

Responsibilities

Assist in the sourcing, evaluation and execution of new investments across a variety of geographies and property types
Prepare and present detailed investment memorandums and financial models for investment committee review
Conduct comprehensive due diligence, including gathering and reviewing documentation from borrowers, brokers and third parties
Support the structuring, negotiation, and closing of investment transactions in coordination with deal teams and legal and closing departments
Participate in deal pipeline management, early-stage deal screening, ongoing portfolio monitoring and reporting
Interface with borrowers and industry partners to ensure timely and successful transaction execution

Requirements

5-7 years of experience in commercial real estate; investment banking, debt/equity advisory, acquisitions or lending experience preferred
Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modelling, as well as Power Point
Strong oral and written communication skills
Highly motivated, disciplined, responsible personality with attention to detail, high energy level and strong work ethic
Proactive thinking with detail-oriented and creative approach to problem solving
Fluency in European languages (e.g. German, French, Spanish, Italian) is a plus but not required
