About the Role
Indera is seeking a Direct Support Professional to work in the Cicero area with a young man who requires assistance due to a developmental delay. The family is looking for a dedicated staff to provide him with support and assist him with maintaining his independence both at home and in community settings.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with taking individual out to explore interests
- General independence
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Effective communication and organizational skills required
- Flexibility with assignments and schedule required
- Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time
- Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by Indera's technology policy
- Reliable transportation
- HS diploma/GED
- Background check, fingerprinting and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire
