About the Role
Five Below is seeking passionate individuals to join their team as Sales Associates. This role is perfect for those who love delivering amazing customer service and driving sales in a fast-paced retail environment. Associates are at the heart of the store's action, ensuring a great experience for every customer.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to all standard operating procedures and policies.
- Manage cash handling procedures.
- Review and be responsible for corporate communications.
- Assist in merchandising procedures.
- Maintain assigned store areas.
- Set and maintain Market Plan and other merchandise directives.
- Assist with the execution of company data integrity processes.
- Deliver exceptional customer service through personal interaction.
- Interact with and assist customers.
- Assist in receiving and stocking procedures.
- Unload merchandise from trucks.
- Drive store sales by performing services like ear piercing, balloon arrangements, and buy online pick up in store.
- Check in shipments.
- Stage merchandise for the sales floor.
- Pack out merchandise.
- Perform store maintenance, including cleaning and organizing.
- Stand for the entire shift.
- Frequently operate the cash register.
- Frequently move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs and place/remove merchandise up to a height of 5-10 feet.
- Frequently ascend/descend ladders for stock retrieval and placement.
- Frequently kneel, bend, and stoop in the stock room and on the sales floor.
- Frequently communicate and exchange information with customers and coworkers.
- Frequently move across the sales floor assisting customers and retrieving/putting away merchandise.
