About the Role
Roto-Rooter is seeking Field Sales Representatives for their Water Restoration department. This role involves actively pursuing sales opportunities and qualified leads provided by field service technicians and call centers. The position offers unlimited earnings with an average of $80,000-$120,000 per year, mileage reimbursement, a weekly base pay plus commission, flexible work schedules, and top industry benefits.
Responsibilities
- Identify and sell opportunities to mitigate property damage caused by water to the residential and commercial market.
- Perform assessments of property to determine moisture levels and the need for demolition and drying to acceptable levels.
- Engage in proactive follow-up communication with existing customers to deliver effective solutions for their plumbing or water-related issues.
- Leverage pricing matrix and/or insurance guidelines to provide competitive quotes and close sales.
- Serve as a trusted information resource for Roto-Rooter customers.
Requirements
- Possess a valid driver’s license and acceptable background check.
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service focus.
- Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Knowledge of Water Restoration and practices is required.
- Organized self-starter with an outgoing personality.
- Working knowledge of common software programs such as Word and Excel.
- Previous experience with outside sales of in-home services is strongly desired, but all outside sales experience will be considered.
- Maintain IICRC Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) and Applied Structural Drying Technician (ASD) certification.
- Medically cleared to wear a respirator and complete a respirator fit test.
