About the Role
As an Assistant Branch Manager, you will provide strong support to the Branch Manager by supervising daily activities to ensure high-quality customer service, coaching and developing branch staff, and maintaining a focus on sales activities and results. You will also monitor and control compliance risks, operational exposure, and assist with budget management.
Responsibilities
- Assist in building a motivated and high-performing branch team through effective recruitment, training, and development of staff.
- Conduct regular and quarterly coaching and career development conversations.
- Propose salary recommendations to Branch and Market Manager for approval.
- Responsible for sales and service coaching of branch staff and participating in activities and results to achieve individual and team goals.
- Work with manager to develop decision-making and business development skills for future leadership responsibilities.
- Identify and establish new relationship opportunities with Branch Manager and business partners.
- Deliver solutions to customers through interactive, needs-based conversations, assessing and addressing their needs.
- Refer customers to business partners to meet current and future needs.
- Resolve customer issues and complaints while delivering an elevated level of responsiveness and customer satisfaction.
- Provide supervisory oversight of branch operations, compliance, and risk.
- Manage branch profitability by managing FTEs, fee waivers, and other budget-related items.
- Oversee branch operations and compliance controls.
- Ensure team understanding and awareness of information security and fraud risk.
- Represent the bank in the local market fulfilling a leadership role with civic and community organizations.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
- NMLS Certification required or ability to obtain upon hire.

Salary/Compensations
- $22.63 - $30.17
