About the Role
NVIDIA is seeking a Systems & Software Engineer to build and operate reliable, large-scale infrastructure platform services. You will create and support automation for infrastructure management, focusing on EDA platforms running on NVIDIA hardware.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, deploy, and run infrastructure services and manage their software lifecycle to meet business goals.
- Build and maintain automation to eliminate manual tasks and scale output efficiently.
- Participate in defining internal service level objectives and error budgets as part of the observability strategy.
- Practice sustainable blameless incident prevention and response, including on-call rotation.
- Consult with peer teams on systems design best practices.
Requirements
- BS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field involving coding (e.g., physics or mathematics), or equivalent experience.
- Experience coding in Python and/or Go without AI assistance during interviews.
- Experience with infrastructure automation and distributed systems design.
- Experience developing tools for running large-scale private or public cloud systems in production.
- In-depth knowledge of Linux systems and Containers.
- Demonstrated ability to balance initiating projects, convincing others to collaborate, and collaborating on others' projects.
- 8+ years of relevant experience.
