About the Role
The Van Driver/Warehouse position is responsible for customer delivery, including packing orders, mapping routes, handling paperwork, providing customer service, and maintaining the delivery vehicle. This role also involves warehouse functions such as receiving and shipping materials, organizing the warehouse, and preparing customer orders. Collaboration with other branches is key to ensuring consistent customer service across the network.
Responsibilities
- Pack orders for delivery
- Map delivery routes
- Handle delivery paperwork
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Maintain the delivery vehicle and maintenance records
- Receive material
- Maintain warehouse organization
- Ship materials
- Prepare customer orders
- Work with other branches to ensure high customer service levels
- Drive safely and follow all traffic regulations
- Inspect and maintain vehicle safety
- Maintain cleanliness of the Company vehicle
- Check in and put up stock
- Help maintain cleanliness of warehouse
- Pull orders for deliveries
- Back up counter employees with orders and customers on the counter
- Assist in counting on Stock Take
- Communicate customer feedback to the Branch Manager
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to balance multiple tasks
- Must be able to lift and move items up to 50 pounds
