About the Role
Leads efforts to develop, monitor, and maintain processes, frameworks, and tools ensuring reliability and scalability for advanced analytics, predictive modeling, machine learning, and decision-making. Focuses on engineering data products and implementing automated processes that enable analytic product development. Partners with business and technology teams to define data strategy, explore new tools, establish best practices, and enable technical capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Defines and implements standards for data strategy, code quality, and lifecycle management.
- Provides technical guidance and mentorship on automation, data engineering, and best practices.
- Designs, builds, and maintains large and complex information sets optimized for performance and reliability.
- Integrates and extracts relevant information from large amounts of structured and unstructured data.
- Develops reusable frameworks, APIs, and tools to empower analysts and data scientists.
- Identifies and transforms ad hoc, manual, or fragmented processes into automated, reliable solutions.
- Partners with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Produces ad hoc reporting and analytics to support business requests.
- Provides input into the creation of detailed project plans, work assignments, and target dates.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
- Typically requires minimum of 4-5 years work experience.
- Database and analytical experience required.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills.
- Ability to effectively manage time.
- Independent and highly self-motivated.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Strong PC skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
