About the Role
Buffalo Lift Trucks & Vitan Equipment is seeking a Parts Advisor to lead the Buffalo parts department, overseeing the team, inventory, purchasing, and daily operations to ensure efficient support for service technicians.
Responsibilities
- Manage parts inventory, ordering, receiving, and returns
- Lead, train, and develop the parts team
- Coordinate parts needs with technicians and the service department
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct cycle counts
- Identify and reduce obsolete or excess inventory
- Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient parts department
- Ensure department processes are followed consistently
Requirements
- Experience in material handling, heavy equipment, automotive, truck, or a related industry preferred
- Strong knowledge of parts ordering and inventory management
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced service environment
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
