About the Role
PwC is expanding its leading SAP consulting practice, seeking leaders to drive business transformation through deep SAP expertise, consulting, business change, and innovation. The role involves leading complex SAP S/4HANA transformation programs, defining strategies, and providing architectural leadership to multidisciplinary teams. This is an opportunity to shape the future of the practice and make a significant impact.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design, test, and build for complex SAP S/4HANA transformation programs.
- Manage a team of functional workstream leads, report to the Programme Director, and engage with senior IT members of the client team.
- Define transformation strategies, target and interim architectures, and Enterprise and Solution architecture roadmaps with a focus on value creation.
- Provide thought leadership and practical experience on complex Solution Architectural issues and challenges, along with deep functional knowledge.
- Provide architectural leadership across multidisciplinary program teams, guiding Solution Architects and Functional Leads to deliver integrated, scalable, and future-ready SAP solutions.
- Lead client architecture governance, executive design authorities, and strategic decision-making, offering trusted advice throughout the transformation lifecycle.
- Work closely with Capability Leads, Engagement Partners, and Client Teams to shape strategic pursuits, define differentiated propositions, and support executive client engagements.
- Collaborate with Delivery Centres and PwC's global network to integrate proven enterprise architecture approaches, accelerators, and delivery assets into UK engagements.
- Coach Solution Architects and senior consultants while helping shape the future architecture capability of the PwC UK SAP practice.
Requirements
- Extensive experience leading complex Solution Architecture across large-scale SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA transformation programs.
- Deep functional SAP S/4HANA knowledge with strong business process knowledge.
- Combined deep SAP functional knowledge with broad enterprise architecture experience across business processes, applications, integration, data, cloud, and AI.
- Experience engaging CIOs, CTOs, Chief Architects, and C-suite business leaders to shape enterprise transformation strategies and investment decisions.
- Understanding of SAP's latest innovations, including SAP Business AI, Joule, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), clean-core architecture, and SAP's evolving Business Suite strategy.
- Strong track record of leading multidisciplinary architecture teams across global delivery environments.
- Experience establishing architecture governance across complex programs.
- Enjoyment in developing propositions, shaping strategic pursuits, and representing PwC with clients, alliance partners, and the wider SAP ecosystem.
