About the Role
A F&B Counter Server plays an important role in creating a great experience for our guests in Food & Beverage at YBR Casino & Sports Book. In this role, you’ll deliver friendly and attentive service, keep the outlet clean and organized, operate the cash register, and serve food and beverages with a smile. You’ll also be knowledgeable about our menu and any current promotions, so you can help guests make the best choices.
Responsibilities
- Greets and initiates conversations with customers as they enter their respective venue.
- Demonstrates exceptional guest service skills when selling F&B and Retail items to either guests or employees and informs guests of casino operations and outlet locations.
- Continually operates cash register or cash bank and accepts payment for F&B and Retail product(s) ensuring accuracy when making change.
- Always ensures that assigned area is kept orderly, continually cleaned, and sanitized.
Requirements
- Previous Food & Beverage experience is a plus.
- Fluent in English and possess excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to ring in orders and settle checks on Point of Sale system.
- Ability to count money and make correct change.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 41 - 50 pounds.
