About the Role
Impact Fire Services is seeking a Fire Extinguisher Technician to perform scheduled or unscheduled maintenance on fire extinguishers in residential and commercial spaces. Join a dynamic team of fire protection professionals in a growing company with multiple career paths.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and/or annual inspections and preventative maintenance services on various sized fire extinguishers.
- Repair, replace, fill, and tag all fire extinguishers.
- Service and test fire extinguishers.
- Complete electronic and/or handwritten inspection reports.
- Work independently and use provided personal protective equipment.
Requirements
- Fire Extinguisher experience is required.
- FEL-A, FEL-B, or FEL-K license in the State of Texas is required.
- Understanding of NFPA and building and fire codes.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening.
- MVR checks are required for all driving positions.
