About the Role
Envoy is hiring a Senior Growth Marketing Manager to own pipeline growth for their SMB and Mid-Market segments. The role is measured by marketing-sourced pipeline delivered at an efficient Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC). The manager will scale existing programs, optimize performance, and build a full-funnel engine from initial ad engagement through to sales handoff. This role requires an owner's mindset, focusing on hypothesis-led execution and accountability for pipeline results.
Responsibilities
- Own the velocity paid ads strategy and budget across search and social, managing to pipeline, CAC, and ROAS targets.
- Work hands-on in ad platforms: campaign structure, keyword and audience strategy, bidding, budget pacing, and creative testing.
- Direct the paid search agency day-to-day: set priorities, review work, and hold them accountable for pipeline outcomes.
- Shift spend weekly based on qualified pipeline generation, not just lead volume.
- Own conversion on key velocity buyer pages: pricing, product, comparison, demo, and trial pages.
- Manage the experimentation backlog: write hypotheses, prioritize, launch tests, analyze results, and implement successful changes.
- Improve visit-to-lead and lead-to-SQL conversion rates, ensuring paid landing pages align with driving ads.
- Grow the volume and quality of free trial and product demo signups for SMB and Mid-Market buyers.
- Partner with Product, Marketing Operations, and Sales to convert trial activity into qualified handoffs to BDRs and AEs, identifying readiness signals.
- Identify and address drop-off points between signup, activation, and sales conversations.
- Build and execute nurture programs in Marketo for velocity leads and trial users not yet sales-ready.
- Segment audiences by company size, persona, use case, and behavior, triggering programs based on intent and product activity.
- Re-engage stalled and closed-lost velocity opportunities.
- Build and maintain velocity funnel dashboards with Marketing Operations and RevOps, tracking from spend to Closed-Won.
- Conduct weekly velocity pipeline reviews with Sales leadership to inform investment decisions.
- Maintain a tight feedback loop with BDRs and AEs regarding lead quality, routing, speed to lead, and messaging.
Requirements
- 5+ years in B2B SaaS growth or demand marketing with direct pipeline accountability in a high-velocity, sales-led motion targeting SMB and Mid-Market buyers.
- Deep, hands-on paid media expertise: experience running SEM and paid social campaigns, including account structure, bid/budget management, creative briefs, and pipeline optimization.
- Proven success in conversion optimization: experience designing A/B tests with measurable wins, understanding statistical significance and test viability.
- Full-funnel marketing experience: ability to connect paid, website, trial, and email efforts into a cohesive system and identify funnel leak points.
- Analytical rigor: proficiency with metrics like CAC, CAC payback, ROAS, conversion rates, and pipeline velocity; experience building dashboards in Salesforce or BI tools and presenting to leadership.
- Hypothesis-led and fast-moving approach: ability to form clear theses, rapidly implement ideas, and avoid over-engineering.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills: ability to work effectively with Sales, RevOps, PMM, Product, and agencies, leading through influence.
- AI utilization: experience using AI for agent building, automating reporting, and campaign work to increase speed.
- Experience with AI for marketing engineering is a plus.
- Familiarity with AI tools for building agents, automating reporting, and campaign work is expected.
