  • Collaborate with subject-matter experts across Microsoft to interpret complex and evolving requirements and recommend a clear course of action to senior business and engineering leaders.
  • Maintain strong, trusted-advisor relationships with business clients, engineering leaders, and executives.
  • Monitor developments across AI, healthcare regulation, privacy, and related fields and advise clients on their implications for Microsoft’s products and strategy.
  • Partner with colleagues across AI & Research CELA and the broader CELA organization to promote consistency in Microsoft’s approach to AI development and deployment, particularly where healthcare requirements intersect with broader emerging-technology issues.

Requirements

  • Active license to practice law in a jurisdiction and capable of meeting admission requirements in relevant jurisdiction.
  • Team player who enjoys partnering with cross-functional teams to solve complex issues in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Desire and ability to work as part of a diverse and inclusive team.

  • Ability to think creatively and strategically, and a sense of humor.
  • Ability to deliver impact through superior collaboration both independently and in a team.
  • Ability to adapt to and facilitate a team-based approach to knowledge sharing in a flexible environment that emphasizes collaboration and team performance over management hierarchy.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with demonstrated ability to work efficiently, meet demanding deadlines and manage competing priorities, and stay calm under challenging circumstances.
