About the Role
Registered Nurse (RN) – Infusion at St. Francis Hospital & Heart Center®. We are seeking driven, dedicated, and passionate individuals who excel in patient care and relationship building, embodying integrity, compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for specified patients, including appropriate supportive care and administration of chemotherapy, blood components, fluid and electrolyte replacements, and other oncology treatments as prescribed.
- Perform nursing assessments and triage of patient care needs for new and ongoing patients.
- Provide education and support to patients, families, and significant others; acts as an information resource to students, health care professionals, patients, and the public.
- Follow established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and/or infection control standards.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration
- Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
- Oncology Certification required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required from the American Heart Association
- Advanced Life Support (ACLS) required from the American Heart Association
