About the Role
This role involves assisting in the planning, design, and implementation of rail projects, conducting research and analysis, and collaborating with a team of professionals. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the infrastructure sector.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning, design, and implementation of rail projects.
- Conduct research and analysis to support project development.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other team members.
- Participate in site visits and inspections.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a 3rd or 4th year of a relevant program (e.g., Construction Management, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical).
- Demonstrated interest in the construction industry.
- Strong academic performance.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Basic knowledge of CAD software is an asset.
- Enthusiasm for the mass transit rail industry and a willingness to learn.
- Sponsorship for Canadian Work authorization is not available for this position.
- No relocation assistance will be provided for this position.
- Local candidates will be given preference.
