About the Role
Ashurst Perkins Coie (US) LLP is seeking an associate to join its Technology Strategy, Disputes & Transactions practice. This role involves drafting and negotiating agreements, advising on intellectual property, supporting M&A and financing transactions, and assisting start-ups with various legal matters.
Responsibilities
- Drafting and negotiating licensing and technology agreements
- Advising on intellectual property issues
- Supporting M&A and financing transactions
- Supporting transactions involving new technologies such as AI and blockchain
- Advising start-ups and emerging companies on development, manufacturing, and product launch issues
Requirements
- Minimum of one year of experience in drafting and negotiating licensing and technology agreements
- Minimum of one year of experience in advising on intellectual property issues
- Minimum of one year of experience in supporting M&A and financing transactions
- Minimum of one year of experience in supporting transactions involving new technologies such as AI and blockchain
- Minimum of one year of experience in advising start-ups and emerging companies on development, manufacturing, and product launch issues
- Experience working at an AmLaw 50 law firm
- Excellent academic credentials
