About the Role
As a Senior Staff UX Designer at Google, you will redesign the Search experience for the AI era, driving creative vision and scaling the foundational Search experience across Google. You will reimagine Search to be more expressive and easier to use, moving effortlessly between high-level creative viewpoints and pixel-perfect delivery. By driving strategic alignment with teams across Google, you will establish a cohesive design approach that scales horizontally. Responsibilities
- Influence stakeholders across organizations to gain support for design strategies.
- Lead the development of innovative design solutions to user, product, and business problems.
- Own a holistic design process, design system, or design language across teams or products.
- Lead design solutions based on user insights, business needs, and industry trends that further business outcomes.
- Guide and provide direction to UX designers in creating design concepts for user research/testing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in product design or UX.
- Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).
Experience Level
- 10 years of experience in product design or UX
- 15 years of experience in product design or UX
- 7 years of experience working in a complex, cross-functional organization
- 6 years of experience leading design projects
- 5 years of experience working with executive leaders
Education Level
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Salary/Compensations
- US: $236000 - $329000 (USD) + 25% bonus target + equity + benefits
