About the Role

Mile Marker is seeking an Analyst, Analytics to join their Analytics Center of Excellence. This role is foundational to the analytics practice, focusing on transforming data into insights, ensuring report precision, and establishing measurement excellence. You will gain hands-on experience with data that drives client marketing success, learning how metrics, media, and strategy intersect to improve performance. This position is ideal for an early-career professional who is curious, detail-oriented, and passionate about data-driven marketing decisions, aiming to develop technical fluency, analytical discipline, and professional confidence within a fast-paced, collaborative team.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain recurring dashboards and automated reports using Google Data Studio.
  • Manage and QA data within the codeless data infrastructure platform, Funnel.io.
  • Pull, clean, and integrate data from multiple sources, including GA4, Ads Manager, DV360, and social APIs.
  • Maintain data hygiene through UTM governance, taxonomy checks, and QA documentation.
  • Utilize AI to enhance the analytics practice through data cleaning, exploratory analysis, and methodology development.
  • Assist in pre- and post-campaign analysis, cohort segmentation, and test implementation.
  • Identify performance drivers and optimization opportunities under senior guidance.
  • Ensure precision in all datasets, validating accuracy before client reporting.
  • Support Managers, Supervisors, and Associate Directors to translate data findings into actionable insights.
  • Aid in preparation of client-facing deliverables with clear, accurate visualizations.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to maintain data consistency and alignment.
  • Adopt an apprentice mindset—eager to learn, take feedback, and develop technical mastery.
  • Build professional communication and time management skills through collaboration and ownership.
  • Contribute to a culture of curiosity, accountability, and continuous learning across the analytics team.

Requirements

  • 0–2 years of analytics or media experience; relevant internships or coursework welcome.
  • Familiarity with core media platforms (GA4, GTM, ad platforms) and visualization tools (Looker/Tableau).
  • Comfort with spreadsheets (lookup functions, pivot tables) and introductory SQL or data querying concepts.
  • Understanding of foundational performance KPIs (CTR, CPA, ROAS) and attribution basics (last-click, time-decay).
  • Minimal client interaction; primarily supports internal deliverables with growing exposure to client-facing analysis.
  • Demonstrates curiosity, attention to detail, and eagerness to master tools and methodologies.
  • Practices clear communication and builds organizational discipline.
  • Understands the relationship between marketing metrics and client business goals.
  • Begins to connect analytical outcomes to strategic decisions.
