About the Role
We are searching for a Production Worker to join our GAL Manufacturing team at Vantage Elevation. This role is essential for performing in a fast-paced manufacturing plant and requires outstanding communication and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
- Use various measuring tools such as caliper, micrometers, and tape measures to accurately measure parts.
- Set up and operate equipment to meet facility goals for safety, quality, productivity, and teamwork.
- Perform changeovers as required for all manufacturing equipment.
- Adapt to changes and directions of daily production.
- Meet hourly and daily production targets.
- Complete and pass training for forklift and passenger wagons and die change over.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts, including cherry pickers, clamp trucks, order pickers, pallet jacks, etc.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems and procedures.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes.
- Ability to perform basic equipment repairs and maintenance.
- Must be able to lift over 50 pounds.
