About the Role
The Cambria Hotel Lake Placid is seeking a candidate to join their hospitality team as a Restaurant Supervisor. This role offers advancement opportunities for individuals who thrive on providing excellent guest experiences.
Responsibilities
- Manage assigned staff in accordance with hotel policies.
- Assist in ongoing training, supervision, and evaluation of Restaurant staff.
- Maintain current knowledge of Restaurant business trends and cost-effective management.
- Conduct pre-meal meetings with staff, including daily specials, reservation information, and projected business.
- Participate in weekly Banquet Event Order (BEO) Meetings.
- Ensure smooth operation of all outlets by circulating regularly.
- Assist with Server and Bartender duties as needed.
Requirements
- Two years of supervisory experience in Restaurant/Bar operations preferred.
- Must be able to work a varying schedule including nights and weekends.
- Possession of a certificate showing satisfactory completion of a course on “Tips” or other similar hospitality industry course, or the ability to pass such a course within six months of employment.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service skills and a commitment to providing an exceptional guest experience.
