About the Role

Mister Safety Shoes is seeking a Part Time Retail Associate for its London - Wonderland Rd S location. This role involves a consultative sales approach to understand customer needs, recommend products, and build relationships while working towards sales goals. Safety footwear experience is not required as comprehensive training will be provided.

Responsibilities

Connect with customers, understand their needs, and recommend suitable products using consultative selling techniques.
Work toward individual and store sales targets and productivity goals while following sales and service standards.
Learn and explain product features, benefits, fit, and available services.
Build customer relationships through friendly, responsive service; resolve questions and concerns or escalate when appropriate.
Process purchases, returns, and other transactions accurately using the Point-of-Sale (POS) system.
Maintain organized product displays and store presentation.
Receive, unpack, and organize shipments and inventory, and prepare and dispatch customer orders accurately and on time.
Work with teammates to maintain a welcoming, organized, safe, and high-performing store.

Requirements

Retail, sales, customer service, or hospitality experience is an asset; a great attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.
Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with a wide range of customers.
A sales-focused, solutions-oriented approach and a genuine interest in helping people.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Confidence using computers, POS systems, scanners, and other retail technology.
Must be able to work 10-15 hours per week, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
Must be able to work weekday shifts as late as 8:30 p.m. and weekend shifts as late as 6:30 p.m.
Must be able to stand and move in a wide range of motion comfortably for extended periods throughout your shift.
Must be able to bend, turn, reach, and climb ladders safely when required.
Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs with assistance.
