About the Role
Join our world-renowned team as an Interventional Radiology Technologist, assisting Radiologists with OR procedures, equipment operation, and patient care. This technical role is crucial for maintaining our high standards of quality and supporting a world-class clinical team.
Responsibilities
- Work on OR procedures assisting Radiologists
- Handle and operate equipment and instruments during cases
- Perform patient and tray prep
- Respond to emergency examinations when available
- Complete 3-month department modality specific evaluation
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Graduate of an AMA approved school of radiology
- New York State licensure in Radiography
- New York State certification to inject contrast media
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI) or obtain within 18 months of start date
- Maintain continuing education credits per ARRT requirements
- Minimum of one year experience in Diagnostic Imaging
- Proficient in EMR, RIS, PACS, and Modality specific software
- Must live within a commutable distance to NYP
