About the Role

We are seeking a Strategic Finance & Business Operations Lead to manage financial analysis and drive key business decisions. This role involves deep dives into business economics, financial modeling, evaluating opportunities, and managing commercial aspects like payor relationships. You will report directly to the Founder and collaborate with leadership to support company scaling.

Responsibilities

Own financial analysis and modeling across revenue, growth, unit economics, and strategic initiatives.
Develop a deep understanding of Blossom’s revenue structure and identify opportunities to improve business economics.
Build models and analyses to inform company-level decisions on growth, investment, resource allocation, and new opportunities.
Partner with the Founder and business leaders on high-priority strategic and operational projects.
Translate complex financial and operational data into clear recommendations and actionable decisions.
Build reporting, forecasting, and analytical processes as the company scales.
Evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, markets, and strategic initiatives from financial and operational perspectives.
Execute on identified opportunities beyond the initial analysis.

Requirements

2–6 years of professional experience with a strong foundation in finance and financial analysis.
Experience in investment banking, equity research, private equity, hedge funds, or a similar rigorous investing/financial environment.
Exceptional strength in financial modeling, including deep understanding of revenue structures, unit economics, and business performance.
Proven track record of outperforming in highly selective, demanding environments.
Ability to structure ambiguous questions and arrive at thoughtful answers.
Commercially minded with a focus on the business implications of financial analysis.
Strong bias for action and willingness to operate beyond traditional finance role boundaries.
Clear communication skills, capable of translating detailed analysis into compelling recommendations.
Excitement for working directly with a Founder and taking on broad ownership.
Authorized to work in the United States.
Willingness to work in-person in New York City 5 days a week.
Several years in investment banking or a similar rigorous finance environment, followed by a role in strategic finance, business operations, or similar at a high-growth startup (Bonus).
