About the Role

This position focuses on creating preference and active users in law schools within an assigned territory by assessing customer needs, developing school-specific business plans, and promoting LexisNexis products and services.

Responsibilities

Act as a Consultative Sales Person, supporting law school customers to increase active users.
Engage with all levels of law schools, including students, faculty, librarians, and leadership.
Hire and manage a team of student representatives.
Develop strategic account plans tailored to each school to maximize student preference and drive usage.
Demonstrate deep product, content, or practice area knowledge, serving as an internal resource for sales, marketing, and segments.
Prepare and deliver specialized customer presentations to communicate value propositions and differentiators.
Conduct research and analysis, sharing findings with product, segment, and marketing teams.
Strategically manage resources, including an annual marketing budget and student representative payroll.

Requirements

Possess a Juris Doctor degree; State Bar membership is highly preferred.
Have 1-2 years of legal practice experience.
Display excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience developing and executing account plans and coordinating stakeholders and resources.
Demonstrate outstanding networking capabilities and exhibit professional demeanor, business maturity, and technical knowledge.
Ability to travel to local accounts.
