  • Establishes proactive, trusted communications for API and SDK roadmaps, changes, deprecations, releases, and market opportunities.
  • Collaborates with Strategic Alliances, Product, Engineering, and regional commercial teams to prioritize partners, gather customer insights, shape joint plans, and influence product decisions.
  • Represents HID as a thought leader on technology partnerships, integration ecosystems, mobile access, professional services, and AI-enabled opportunities.
  • Drives measurable improvements in ecosystem reliability, service recovery, quality, governance, TPP growth, partner adoption, retention, renewal, strategic-partner momentum, and global team performance.

Requirements

  • Practical coding fluency in one or more modern integration languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#, TypeScript, JavaScript) with the ability to review code and assess SDK implementations.
  • Working knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, OAuth 2.0/OIDC, webhooks, rate limiting, retries, observability, and secure software-development practices.
  • Strong commercial judgment across partner economics, tiering programs, services investment, retention, and strategic alliances.
  • Executive presence and the ability to influence across Product and Engineering and represent HID with senior external audiences.
  • Leadership style characterized by ownership of integration resilience, analytical and proactive use of data, calm and decisive outage leadership, technical credibility, commercial grounding, and the confidence to set standards and challenge weak solutions constructively.
