About the Role
This position contributes to the coordinated efforts of preparing and distributing products to retail stores, ensuring alignment with Food Safety standards and a quality service approach.
Responsibilities
- Provide superior customer service to internal and external customers.
- Keep administrative offices, common work and storage areas clean, safe, and well-presented.
- Perform general housekeeping, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
- Recommend merchandise and janitorial supply orders when appropriate.
- Comply with all health and safety standards and procedures, especially regarding sanitization, equipment usage, and employee safety.
- Assist and relieve other team members as required.
- Undertake other related duties on a periodic basis.
Requirements
- Typically requires 6 months of experience in a related industry.
- Superior customer service, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision with a high standard for quality, attention to detail, and cleanliness.
- Ability to work in a team environment with clear and effective communication skills, both written and oral.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Unavoidable exposure to dangerous or unpleasant environmental elements such as noise, dirt, dust, vibration, and extreme temperatures.
- Providing service to several people or departments, working under many simultaneous deadlines.
- May be required to wear cumbersome protective clothing or equipment and advanced PPE for part or duration of shift.
- Required to lift, carry, or handle heavy objects.
